1920
The youngest of six siblings, he was born in 1920 in Cabreira, Salvaterra de Miño (Pontevedra), into a humble farming family. At that time, obtaining food from the land occupied all time and demanded every effort.
1938
Upon reaching adulthood, he was drafted and forced to participate in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939).
1948
After returning home, already married with two children, he emigrated to Brazil—like thousands of Galicians—in search of a better life for his family.

1960
Upon returning to Galicia, he felt the call of the land once more and purchased the Quinta Gaviñeira estate, an ancestral property with Albariño vineyards dating back to the 1920s. Years later, he began expanding the plantation to its current 7.4 hectares.
2009
In the midst of the financial crisis, Clemente, his youngest son, decided to use the existing resources to create the Angel Sequeiros winery as a tribute to his father.
